What is a Foreign Exchange Trader…with an emphasis in International Agriculture?
My adviser suggested this career since I am interested in agriculture (and have an agriculture background) and I am interested in travel (and have traveled a lot). I just have not been able to find much information on what an FX trader would do if they are majoring on the Ag side of things. Also, wanting to know how demanding it is, as I am married with a one year old and family come first.

So I take it FX traders do have to travel a lot? Even when one is wanting to look more towards the Ag side of it? You talked about working for a domesticated farming assoc. Are you able to go into detail a little more on that? Or do you know what I could google to find more on it.

Foreign Exchange usually means trading currencies, which is done in the organized exchanges in New York, London, Frankfurt, etc.
Agricultural trader would importing or exporting agricultural products. You might be working for a major grocery chain or food wholesaler, or some kind of domestic farming association.
